Centerville, Ohio, USA, August 18, 2009: DimcoGray Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of standard and custom-molded plastic knobs and handles and specialty timers is launching a modernization plan for its’ Centerville plant.
The Company is investing in the latest technology for both plastics and metal processing. A new CNC lathe coupled with a fully automatic bar feeder will provide greater flexibility in the production of short run and custom orders. The Company is stepping up efforts to conserve energy by installing a new 150 ton Toyo ET-150HR2 all electric rotary injection press. The new press requires considerably less energy to operate than the two older injections presses it replaced. The Toyo press provides advanced controls to automate production and maintain the tight tolerances required for medical and other precision molding.
